Accessibility Statement

At Wino Event Company, doing business as Texas Winos, Wino, and Winos ("Company," "we," "us," "our"), we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment and providing an exceptional experience for all of our guests. We actively work to promote accessibility across our digital checkout experiences and across our diverse portfolio of live experiential events, including bus tours, boat parties, and large-scale festivals.
1. DIGITAL PLATFORM & WEB ACCESSIBILITY
We continuously optimize our website, checkout flows, and digital registration forms to maximize readability and ease of use. Our platform development targets compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA parameters. This ongoing iterative focus ensures that our online spaces accommodate assistive software applications, screen-reading tools, keyboard-only navigation pathways, and optimal text-to-background visual contrast ratios.
2. BUS TOURS & TRANSPORT ACCESSIBILITY
Our regional wine, spirit, and brewery bus tours leverage chartered multi-passenger transit vehicles. Because fleet configurations vary across operating regions (such as Texas and California), we utilize both standard regional coaches and vehicles equipped with automated wheelchair lifts. If your booking requires a vehicle featuring a dedicated boarding ramp, lock-down anchors, or low-step boarding alternatives, please notify our coordinators at the time of purchase so we can allocate appropriate fleet assets to your chosen tour date.
3. WATERCRAFT & BOAT PARTY ACCOMMODATIONS
Our aquatic events take place on commercial charter vessels and cruise boats. Marine environments present distinct structural realities governed by maritime safety regulations and coast guard compliance mandates, which may incorporate narrow gangways, steep staircases, and elevated step-over thresholds. While we work diligently with boat operators to ease boarding friction, certain watercraft cannot fully accommodate heavy motorized mobility devices. We encourage guests with mobility challenges to reach out before purchasing tickets so we can outline the precise physical layout of the specific chartered vessel.
4. OPEN-AIR FESTIVALS & LARGE-SCALE EVENTS
Our multi-winery festivals and larger events are often hosted in rustic environments, including natural outdoor vineyard terrains, public parks, and historic architectural spaces. These venues may feature uneven dirt paths, gravel transitions, and grass clearings. At all large-scale festival layouts, the Company incorporates accessible portable restrooms, dedicated ADA vehicle drop-off zones, and designated pathways to primary tasting pavilions. If you require specialized on-site routing assistance, please consult our event staff located at the primary entrance ticketing gates.
5. SERVICE ANIMALS POLICY
In strict alignment with federal regulations and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), trained service animals are welcome at all our live events, bus tours, and festival grounds. A service animal is legally defined as a dog that is individually trained to perform specific tasks or do work directly benefiting an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals, comfort companions, and personal pets do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and are not permitted on our passenger buses, watercraft, or event properties due to health, venue, and safety parameters.
6. TIMELINE FOR CUSTOM ACCOMMODATION REQUESTS
To guarantee the seamless coordination of third-party transit logistics, venue-specific ramps, or specialized auxiliary communication aids, we kindly ask that guests submit detailed accommodation requests at least fourteen (14) days prior to their scheduled event date. While our operations team will make every commercially reasonable effort to support late requests, early notifications ensure that our vineyard hosts, maritime charter captains, and transport groups can properly execute your accommodations effectively.
