Credit & Gift Card Policies

Last Updated: [February 1, 2026]

These Credit & Gift Card Policies govern the purchase, receipt, transfer, and redemption of gift certificates, gift cards, and account credits (collectively, "Credits") issued by Wino Event Company, doing business as Texas Winos, Wino, and Winos ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). By purchasing or using a Credit, you agree to be bound by these policies as well as our master Terms and Conditions.

1. GIFT CERTIFICATES DEFINED AS CREDIT

For the purposes of our services, physical or digital gift certificates and gift cards represent a paper or electronic manifestation of an event credit. The Company treats gift certificates, gift cards, and standard account credits interchangeably. All forms of balance issued or held on account shall adhere uniformly to the rules outlined in this document.

2. TRANSFERABILITY

Credits are fully transferable. You may choose to use an issued Credit toward an event for yourself, or voluntarily transfer/assign the Credit to another individual for redemption. The same terms, conditions, and restrictions apply to the assigned recipient of the Credit as they did to the original purchaser.

3. REFUND ELIGIBILITY AND WINDOW

Cash refunds for the purchase of a Credit are strictly limited to a window of thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase. Refund requests made within this 30-day window will be credited back to the original method of payment. Once the 30-day window has elapsed, the purchase becomes non-refundable, and the balance can only be used as a Credit toward eligible future Company events or services.

4. EXPIRATION AND MAINTENANCE FEES

Subject to applicable state legislation, Credits issued by the Company remain valid for up to seven (7) years from the date of issuance. The Company does not charge dormancy, service, or maintenance fees against the balance of your Credit. Applying an unused Credit to an event registration does not reset or alter the original 30-day cash refund eligibility window.

5. APPLICATION OF CREDIT TO LIVE EVENTS

When a Credit is utilized to register for a live event, that balance remains tied to our standard event booking terms. Converting a Credit into an active event reservation does not make the underlying funds eligible for a cash refund if the request falls outside of the initial 30-day purchase window.

6. RESCHEDULING AND LATE CANCELLATIONS

If a customer utilizes a Credit to register for a live event and subsequently requests a schedule modification, the following criteria apply:

  • Within the Permitted Rescheduling Window: If the request to change plans is made inside the event’s allowed rescheduling window (as specified in our Return and Event Cancellation Policy), the reservation will be canceled and the full value of the Credit will remain intact on the user's account for future booking.
  • Outside the Permitted Rescheduling Window: If a modification or cancellation is requested after the cutoff time or outside the valid rescheduling window, the reservation cannot be rescheduled, and the associated Credit value is forfeited. However, the ticket reservation may be fully transferred to another individual to attend that specific scheduled live event.

7. STATE-SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES (TEXAS & CALIFORNIA)

The Company operates across multiple states, and specific localized statutes govern consumer gift cards:

  • Texas Residents: In accordance with Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 604, your Credit is a valid contractual obligation up to the specified multi-year limitation unless dictated otherwise by unclaimed property law.
  • California Residents: Under California Civil Code Section 1749.5, gift certificates and gift cards cannot contain an expiration date or service fees. For California residents or Credits purchased within the state of California, the 7-year limitation does not apply, and the Credit retains its face value until fully redeemed. Furthermore, under California law, if the remaining balance on a gift card falls below $10.00, it is redeemable for cash upon request.
