Cancellation Policies

Last Updated: [February 1, 2026]

At Wino Event Company, doing business as Texas Winos, Wino, and Winos ("Company," "we," "us," "our"), our primary goal is to deliver exceptional, seamless, and safe experiences. While we make every operational effort to execute our scheduled bus tours, boat parties, and festivals, circumstances occasionally arise that make hosting an event impossible or unsafe. This policy outlines our procedures and your remedies in the event that the Company must cancel an experience.

Emergency Notification Protocol: In the event of a company-initiated cancellation, all registered ticket holders will be notified immediately via the primary email address and/or mobile phone number provided during checkout.

1. PERMISSIBLE GROUNDS FOR COMPANY CANCELLATION

The Company reserves the right to cancel, alter, or postpone any tour, live event, or cruise at its sole discretion due to the following unforeseen operational variables:

  • Severe Inclement Weather: Atmospheric conditions that compromise road transit safety, marine safety mandates, or outdoor festival grounds.
  • Personnel Emergencies: Sudden, acute medical emergencies or critical staffing shortages affecting certified drivers, tour captains, or essential hospitality leads.
  • Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances: Events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to road closures, venue infrastructure failures (e.g., power grid blackouts at a partner vineyard), government mandates, or sudden mechanical issues affecting transit fleets or chartered watercraft.

2. CONSUMER REMEDIES & ACCOUNT OPTIONS

If an event is called off entirely by the Company, we are dedicated to making our patrons whole. Affected ticket holders will automatically be granted the following provisions:

  • Automatic Account Credit: Your booking value will immediately be converted into a 100% face-value account Credit. Consistent with our master policies, this Credit features no administrative maintenance fees and remains valid on your account for up to seven (7) years (or indefinitely for California transactions) to be applied toward any future tour, festival, or service.
  • Cash Refund Alternative: If you cannot utilize an account Credit for a future experience, you maintain the right to request a full cash refund back to your original method of payment. You must submit your refund request by replying to our cancellation notice or contacting our team at contact@texaswinos.com within thirty (30) days of the canceled event date.

3. LIMITATION OF SECONDARY LIABILITY

The Company's financial liability is strictly limited to the direct face-value price paid for the event ticket or reservation.

In the event that the Company cancels an experience, we accept no responsibility or liability for any secondary, incidental, or consequential expenses incurred by the patron. This includes, but is not limited to, non-refundable commercial airline tickets, hotel or short-term rental bookings, third-party transit fees, pre-arranged childcare costs, or clothing purchases. We highly recommend that guests traveling from out-of-state invest in independent travel insurance policies.

4. INCLEMENT WEATHER THRESHOLDS

Please note that our tours, festivals, and boat parties are rain-or-shine experiences. A passing shower or normal seasonal temperature variance does not constitute grounds for a company cancellation. Cancellations are enacted exclusively when local meteorological metrics or marine authorities (such as the U.S. Coast Guard or National Weather Service) issue formal warnings indicating that road navigation, watercraft operations, or open-air crowds would face significant physical risk.
